I was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. I attended Belle Ryan Grade School, Monroe Junior High, and Benson High School. I moved to Lincoln to attend the University of Nebraska where I achieved a degree in Education with majors in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have worked on masters programs at the University of Nebraska – Omaha and Lincoln.
I began my teaching career in Omaha working with Kindergarten through sixth graders. My family moved to Lincoln and I have worked at McPhee, Arnold, Havelock, Hartley, and Roper Elementary Schools.
I knew I wanted to be a teacher since second grade and work with children with special needs since I was in junior high. I look forward to working with you and your child on our educational journey at Roper.
