• I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Nate Kapustka and this fall I will be working with your student to foster their growth and proficiency in the Spanish language. I am eagerly awaiting the upcoming 2014/2015 semesters and the chance to personally meet you and your student. With your help I am confident that your student will thoroughly enjoy the interactive and stress-free approach to learning Spanish in my classroom. I am a 25-year-old Nebraska Native, living in Omaha for 24 years until I moved to Lincoln exactly one year ago this month. This summer I completed my Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Doane University. Prior to my education at Doane, I received my Bachelors of Arts & Sciences from Nebraska Wesleyan University where I majored in the fields of World History with a minor in Spanish. My experience living in Buenos Aires, Argentina completely redefined the way I interpret learning and teaching a second language and this directly influences the approach I take in teaching Spanish to my students. I make it a priority to show students how the material can be applied to everyday life based largely off of my own personal experiences abroad.
