3rd Grade Homework Guidelines

     In 3rd grade, each teacher will assign homework as they feel extended knowledge or practice with a particular topic or skill will be beneficial to students.

     In addition to the skills contained in the assignment, a second goal of having homework is building good study habits.  It’s important that students realize that completing assignments and returning them on time is their responsibility.  Parents can help by encouraging their child to put a priority on doing homework right away and putting it in a place where they will remember to return it to school.
