The UNL-PBL Competition is scheduled for MONDAY NOVEMBER 26th!!
This competition will be held at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln City Campus Student Union. It will be all day starting at about 8am. Students will need to come in business attire and will need to provide their own transportation to/from the event. Registration cost is $15. Lunch is not provided at this conference so students will need to bring money for lunch. There are a variety of places to eat in the Student Union.
Students will compete in two events and then take a tour of Memorial Stadium. After the tour and time for lunch they will present awards. Events are listed below.
Round 1 – Accounting (grades 11-12), Accounting II (11-12, Business Calculations (11-12), Business Communications (11-12), Business Math (9-10), FBLA Principles & Procedures (9-10), Intro to Business (9-10)
Round 2 – Economics (9-12), Global Business (9-12), Parliamentary Procedure (9-12), Personal Finance (9-12), Management Decision Making (9-12), Marketing (9-12), Technology Concepts (9-12)
Instead of doing an event in Round 2 you could instead attend a workshop that will be done by the UNL Career Services Department.
Students who want to attend need to have the registration fee to Mr. Hinrichs by TUESDAY OCTOBER 30th!!!
