2019-2020 is my twelfth year of teaching (all of which have been at LSW). My schedule for the year includes: Business Law, College Personal Finance, Economics in Business, and World of Business. Check out my schedule in the right hand margin to see when these great classes are offered. The links above will tell you a little more about each of the classes (but will be getting updated this year).
This is also my twelfth year as the chapter adviser for our Future Business Leaders of America Chapter. In my tenure as a local adviser I have also served on the Nebraska FBLA Board of Directors for three years (2014-2017) and on the Nebraska FBLA Travel Team for it’s inaugural year (2017-2018). Our chapter has sent students to the National Leadership Conference eleven times since the school opened, including a ten year streak from 2009-2018. We have already begun preparations for returning to NLC this coming summer! Salt Lake City, Utah seems like a great place to start another ten year qualifying run!
If you are looking for me outside of the classroom or FBLA you can find me at any home Athletic event in the Fall or Winter sports seasons as I this will be my fourth year serving as the Concessions Manager. Other than that, I like spending my free time playing volleyball, watching TV & Netflix, reading, or hanging out with family or friends.
Family is very important to me. I am the oldest of four. My brother works for a healthcare logistics company in Omaha. My youngest sister is the Company Manager for Gulfshore Playhouse in Naples, Florida. My other sister works in a salon and her husband works in investments and live in La Vista with their two beautiful daughters. My parents still live in our family home in Hastings.
