JATC-Lincoln Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee

3 Apprenticeship programs:

The Inside Program-encompasses all types of electrical work other than outside Lineman work and is a 5-year program.

The Installer Technician Program-involves work on lower voltage systems such as data communications, fire alarms, security and fiber optics and is a 3-year program.

The Construction Wireman/Construction Electrician (CW/CE) program– a self-paced program and encompasses the same work processes as the Inside Program.

These programs require at a minimum a HS diploma or GED.  In addition, you must have completed at least 1 year of High School Algebra with a passing grade.  You are also required to take and receive a qualifying score of a “4” or higher on the Electrical Trades Aptitude Test.
