I am so excited to be teaching second grade this year! This is my 18th year of teaching at Norwood Park and my 27th year in the district. If you would peek into my classroom during the day, you’d see 23 busy second graders! Mrs. Bredehoft and I have lots of fun things planned for this year!

I am an animal lover, especially dogs. My dog, Jackie, is a Brussell’s Griffon mix. She loves to go for walks and sit on our deck with me! She also likes to sit on my lap while I read or do crossword puzzles.

My husband, Bruce, is a  magician, which is very cool! He loves to entertain children and adults with his magic. He has a white “magic” rabbit named Aladdin (who is now retired) and a gray and white “magic” rabbit named Houdini (who is also our second grade classroom bunny!).

Our daughter, Emma, is going to be a junior at Concordia University this fall. She is an art major and  plays on the Women’s golf team. Go Bulldogs!
