The Vocal Links consists of our students who are in Life Skills classes, and our student who are Concert Choir singers.
Show Choir
Show Choir Auditions will be April 16th and April 17th, 2024 in preparation for the 24-25 school year. On April 16th the auditions will be 6 to 7:30pm and on April 17th they will be 3:30pm to 7:00pm. Incoming Freshman and students who are new to LHS Choir need to be at both nights. Students who are continuing in LHS HSow Choir only need to come to one of the nights. If you need audition material you must contact Mr. McCauley. Also, make sure that you join the LHS Show Choir Google Classroom by using the code “adritzj”
This mixed (treble-bass) ensemble/choir studies, rehearses and performs popular music including pop, rock, swing, blues, jazz and show choir literature. Choreography, including dancing, costuming and staging are significant parts of this choir’s performance. The synthesis of music and movement prepared in class becomes a focal point through concerts and contests. Concert Choral
This mixed (treble-bass) choir is designed for the advanced singer with an ability to achieve a high performance level. Challenging four to eight-part concert choir literature of various genres and historical music periods is studied, rehearsed and performed in concerts and contests. Healthy individual vocal techniques and large group choral techniques are emphasized and cultivated. Performances outside of the school day are part of class expectations.
