Open to all students interested in color guard, wind and percussion playing. The marching season runs from the end of July through mid November. Attendance at the mandatory meeting in the spring, as well as participation in band camp are required for students to hold a spot on our team. Auditions for marching percussion and color guard are held in the spring of the previous school year. Following the competition season and Veteran’s Day parade, this group moves indoors and takes a new name (Concert Band) as we dive into our concert season (see course description on this page). The LINKS Marching Band performs at all home football games and typically about 4 Saturday contests in the fall. This group (renamed as Concert Band) will have a winter concert in December.
