ALL LIBRARY BOOKS ARE NOW DUE BACK.  Thank you for your help in getting all our books back home.

 

The votes have been counted and the winners of the Golden Sower Award have been announced. The winner from the intermediate nominees is “Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library”.  The Young Adult winner is “Stung.”  Thanks to all who read and voted

 

Congratulations to the following students for completing the Lincoln Half-Marathon:  6th Grader Marcus Wendt and 8th Grader Isaac Larsen – What a great accomplishment- way to go!

 

Congratulations to the Irving Jazz Band for receiving a Superior Rating and a perfect score at the LPS Middle Level Jazz Festival last Thursday night.  All of your hard work paid off!!!

 

Congratulations to Irving’s 8th Grade Orchestra.  They received a Superior Rating at the LPS Middle Level Orchestra Contest last Thursday.  They performed two pieces for Judge Dave Klein at Culler Middle School.  He complimented the orchestra on their terrific tone and outstanding technique.  Way to go Irving musicians!

 

Attention all 8th grade girls interested in playing volleyball next year at Lincoln High. On Thursday May 5th at 6:00 there will be a player/parent meeting at Lincoln High in the Athletic Conference room to discuss camps and summer strength and conditioning. Please enter through door 29 on the south side of the building. If you have questions please call the Lincoln High athletic office.

 

Reminder to all Irving Students:  Reserve your copy of the 2016 in.our.shoes yearbook!  Payment can be made online by clicking on the “shoes” on the Irving Website or bring your $25 to the main office.
