Huck Finn Reading #1 Review: Students were given a motif journal and we examined several examples for this process in class.  Students also started a dialect translation activity (link) to get more familiar with the several different types of dialect used in Huck Finn.

Students should read chapters 5-12 for Thursday as well as complete a study guide.  Here is a reading schedule, and here is an online version of the text.
