Hi!  My name is Jim Rosenberger and this is my seventh year at East High.  I’ve been teaching Communication Arts/English for 13 and a half years.  I started my career at Lincoln Southwest where I taught for three and half years, and I also spent four years in the Blue Valley School District at Blue Valley North High School (Overland Park, KS).

Kate, my wonderful wife, and I will celebrate our 8th year anniversary on August 15th, 2017.  We are both Lincoln natives and love living here.  We have an almost six year old boy named Finley (Finn) who is our first child; we have an almost four year old named Henry (Hank), we have an almost one year old named Brooks, and we also have a eight-year old Goldendoodle (Sammie); she is a sweetheart!

I am an avid fisherman and hunter, and I spend much of my summer in the Minnesota and Ontario Northwoods.  I have an overall passion and appreciation for the outdoors and the beauty of nature.

I’m very much looking forward to the 2017-2018 school year!
