Greek/Latin Roots Vocabulary Unit (link):  Check out the powerpoint.  The students will study and memorize 33 Greek and Latin roots over the next month.  Today we looked at the first four on the above linked powerpoint.

Comma Splice/Run-On Rules and Practice (link): Students looked over the notes and then practiced with sentences from their HOA essays (link).

Annotated HOA Sample Essay (link): Students took one more look at a sample essay before reviewing their graded essays.  Students will go the computer lab one more time tomorrow to make improvements on certain learning targets.

Irony Notes (link): Students took irony notes before reading The Sniper.
