Students are reading Fallen Angels, by Walter Dean Myers.  Today students in 1st period had an opportunity to study relevant vocabulary within the novel, and the vocabulary words are located on the last four pages of the study guide (link).

Students in 7th period reviewed author’s purpose (link) using the song, “Gimme Shelter,” by the Rolling Stones (link).

Fallen Angels Reading #2 Review: This activity/quizzie allowed students to critically observe the text and make connections with “big ideas.”
