Study Guide and Character Map: Students received a Study Guide and Character Map that will help pace and provide a greater understanding of Romeo and Juliet.

Quick Write: Students reviewed Romeo and Juliet Act I, Scene 1 through the Study Guide questions provided through a packet with their Think-Pair-Share partners.

Terms and Figurative Language Handout: Students answered question two in their handout.  Looking at question one as an example, students used a excerpt provided to translate the meaning of the text using the figurative terms listed on their handout and discussed last week.

Romeo and Juliet: Students in groups of two read Act I, Scenes 2-3.
