2. First They Killed My Father Review and Reading Assignment #4: Students need to read p. 92-119 for Tuesday, 9/9 AND complete the associated study guide.

3. Where I’m From/Raised By Poem: Click on the link to see this assignment and a description of the objectives.  This activity will help the students develop strong writing techniques, as well as allow students to connect with their personal culture.  A graphic organizer and rubric helped students develop ideas and also see how they will be graded.  Students will have tomorrow in the lab to complete this, and it is due on Monday, 9/8.
