Parent Volunteers~ Volunteers are always welcome at Huntington! As per Lincoln Public Schools policy, a background check will be performed for all school volunteers. Necessary forms are available online or in the office. Please contact me or the offices 402-436-1144 if you are interested in volunteering.
Field Trips~Kindergarten usually takes two field trips throughout the school year. One field trip is to kick off our plants unit in science by visiting Chet Acre Nature Center. We usually visit this in the spring. We typically leave school at 9 am and return to school around 11:30 and have lunch outside all together. We also like to visit UPCO park during the last week of school for some outside recreation and fun!! If you would like to volunteer for either of these trips please let me know. We couldn’t do these without all your help and support. Thanks!
