On 9/11/2001, Mr. Shawn Wilson woke up and got ready to go to work and turned on the TV. Footage of 9/11 played on the television. Mr. Wilson was shocked beyond belief. He went to work in a daze and listened in silent disbelief as the radio transmitted news about the terrorist attack. For a week after,  news stations covered this unbelievable act against the United States. Mr. Wilson was still unable to process what had occurred, even 13 days after it had. He lived next to an airport and specifically remembers “There were no airplanes in the skies for days.” As a commemoration for all the people who were massacred, Mr. Wilson got a patriotic tattoo that looks like a cross with an American flag pattern.
