Oct. 7-11

Wow, I am still in shock that this is the last week of the first quarter. Time sure does fly by!!

This week we will be taking our quarterly writing assessment on Wednesday and Thursday.
We will also take a math test on Thursday, so no homework Thursday or Friday nights 🙂

We will take a spelling test on Thursday as well. The next spelling test will be on October 24, the students will have a few weeks with these words because on the short week.

I will be sending home the student log in and passwords for the reading series “Wonders”. I will send them home in their homework folders so they don’t get lost in the shuffle of Friday folder papers.

If you did not get the October BookIt Reading Calendar, please let me know. It is so important and fun to read. Ideally, I would like to have the kids reading 20 minutes a night, but I know that is not always possible; anything is better then nothing. Thanks for your support.
