I don’t know why schools would ever choose to block Gmail in their buildings to begin with, but why block it at all if it takes a simple Google search to find PAGES of easy, easy, easy ways around content filters to get to Gmail anyway? Methinks it is pointless. If an adult can get around it in 30 seconds, a student can in 15.
Or perhaps, the schools are really savvy and want their kids to be better at utilizing their resources to solve problems. Maybe it is all just a big “Teachable moment” in the life of a budding hacker.
