Adaptive Schools is about developing strong schools in which faculties have the knowledge and skills to collaborate deeply, have productive cognitive conflict, and become collectively responsible for student achievement.

Who:

School (Department) Teams of 3-5 members with the Principal attending. (If the principal has already attended, another administrator may attend with the team. Each team must have an administrator.) All members of the team must attend all four days. If you, as principal, would like to attend alone before you involve a team, you are also welcome.

Time: 8 am – 4:00 pm (lunch on your own)

Session 1: Roper Elementary

Session 2, Semester 1 and Semester 2:  Sheridan Lutheran Church – The Great Room (southwest corner)

Trainer: Bess Scott

School Cost:

-Teacher Substitutes for all 4 days if needed

For the Semester 2 session, the Learning Guide will be provided for  each participant at no cost to the school.

Email Heather Abernethy (haberne@lps.org): School Name, Administrator attending; names of other attendees up to 5 total.

Registrations will be time-stamped since participation is on a first come-first serve basis.

Training is limited to 45 participants maximum and 25 minimum.
