All about Mrs. Kelley….

• 16th year at Southwest High School
• Love being a Silverhawk and lived in Lincoln my entire life
• Current staff sponsor for LSW Chapter: Students Together Against Cancer
• Graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School
• B.S. in Secondary Social Sciences Education from UNL 
• M.A. in Historical Studies from NWU 
• Certified AP Human Geography Instructor and LOVE teaching AP HuG
• I previously taught at Culler and Goodrich for one year each, before finding my home at Southwest High School! GO HAWKS!
• I have taught a variety of subjects; Geography, Diff. Geography, Advanced Placement Human Geography, Holocaust History, Civics, Economics, US History 1, US History 2, Citizenship Issues, Government & Politics, Psychology, 7th & 8th grade Social Studies, 7th grade Language Arts & Communication Arts, 7th & 8th Reading Ideas, 7th & 8th grade English, and 7th & 8th Health.
• Been married to my husband Patrick since 2006.
• Daughter’s name is Quinn who currently attends Scott Middle School- GO Scott Stars!
• Son’s name is Hudson and he currently attends Cavett Elementary School  Go Cavett Cardinals!
• I attended Zeman Elementary and Pound Junior High while growing up in Lincoln…just a few years ago!  GO Zeman Zebras and Pound Squires!
• We love dogs; we have 3 furry family members named Frank, Patches & Presley
• Enjoy going to the lake and hanging out with my kids, family and friends during the summer months
• Huge HUSKERS fan!  GBR!  Especially football and basketball.
