Planners
All students must have their planner with them if they need to leave the classroom during class. They MAY NOT use another student’s planner. This includes students wanting to go to the restroom, their locker, and in some cases the nurse’s office. You are expected to write your daily assignments for English, math, social studies and science in your planner.
Supplies
Students need to come to class with a pen or pencil, a spiral notebook, a Homework folder and necessary text books and assignments. They will have an English Folder to keep materials needed for tests and specific units. These DO NOT leave the classroom.
Daily Routine
Students are expected to be in their assigned seats when the bell rings with their necessary materials. They should begin working on the Daily Warm Up as class starts.
Assignments
Students are expected to complete daily assignments by the end of class. If they are not finished they should plan to stay after school to finish their work or make arrangements with Mrs. Vensky before they leave class.
When students are absent, they need to get the assignments they missed and complete them in a timely manner so that they are prepared for upcoming assignments and tests. Assignments are listed on Mrs. Vensky’s website.
