    There will be a student council meeting in room 201 today (2/23) at 3:10 p.m.

    Students: If you didn’t have time, or couldn’t make the first meeting for Make A Change Club, you are welcome to our next meeting, on Monday, February 28 from 3:10-4:00 p.m. in front of the cafeteria.

    The basketball pizza party for both 7th and 8th graders is on Wednesday (2/23) in room 116 (Ms. Euler’s). Please give $3 to Ms. Euler or Ms. Odsen.

    There will NOT be Science Olympiad Thursday (2/24) after school.

    The Lincoln Southeast Cheerleading Parent Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 24th at 6:00 p.m. in the AUDITORIUM, not in the Commons area.

    The Rec. Center will be closed today, February 21 in observance of Presidents’ Day.

    Remember that tomorrow (2/22) is a PLC Day and students will be dismissed at 1:38 p.m.

    The media center is closed after school on Tuesday (2/22) and Thursday (2/24) due to conferences.

    Math Lab will be in Mrs. Neff’s Room, 305, Wednesday (2/23) after school.

    The After School Book Club meets Wednesday (2/23).

    Students: It may look like Spring, it may even feel like Spring, but it is still not appropriate to wear short shorts to school. Please be respectful of school rules and if you choose to wear shorts while it is still Winter, please make sure you follow the guidelines in our student handbook on page 6. Students will be required to change into other clothes if told to do so by an administrator.

    Any 8th grade student that would like to sing at Lincoln Southeast next year needs to see Mr. Robb or Mrs. Hunt today (2/15) after school. Tryouts will be held on Thursday (2/17) of this week for those who have not already auditioned for the freshman choir.

    Attention student council members: If you have 15 minutes to spare after school today, please see Mrs. Fessler in room 201 at 3:00 p.m. We have a special assignment to complete for our school.

    The Instrumental Concert will be Tuesday (2/15) night. (Band 7 and 8 at 6:45 p.m; Orchestra 7 and 8 at 7:45 p.m. in the auditorium)

    The annual Thank You Teacher Contest gives students and former students an opportunity to tell teachers they are appreciated. Nominations must be received by 5:00 pm. on Friday, February 18th.

    Nebraska Teacher Recognition Day is Tuesday, March 1, 2011. It is time to say “Thank You” to a teacher who has made a difference.
