    The back door to the media center is an emergency exit only and is not to be used for any other purpose.  Please exit the media center at the main set of doors in the hallway only.  Thank you.

    Pick up a permission form from Mrs. Brown (room 230) if you are interested in volunteering for the World Oceans Day at the Henry Doorly Zoo on June 8.  Forms are due this Friday, May 21.

    Spring Picture packets must be returned to the office or paid for this week.

    Regarding the Lost & Found items in the commons…make sure you are only taking things that belong to you.  If it is not yours, do not take it!

    Sing and Swing Choir...we have two rehearsals left before our concert at 3:15 p.m. Thursday after school.  Please try to come to the rehearsals tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday before school at 7:25 a.m.  Everyone needs to be there for last minute on-stage adjustments.  Thanks.               Mrs. Cook

    Green Team–meet in the media center tonight after school. Make sure you’ve made arrangements to be picked up later than usual after school!

    Daily Logic Question: Eddie bet he could jump from a 10 story building to the concrete below and not be injured.  How did he manage to win the bet?  Answer:  He jumped from the bottom step of the first floor.  He didn’t say he would jump from the top of a 10 story building.

    7TH GRADE

    7TH & 8TH GRADES

    Engineering Exploration Week is a one-week day camp of workshops for students entering grades 8-9.  The camp is held at Peter Kiewit Institute in Omaha from July 12-16.  Registration deadline is June 21st and cost is $175.  Register on-line at http://www.jrhigheew.unl.edu or contact them for more information.

    8TH GRADE

    All 8th graders who received an invitation to the President’s Education Awards Ceremony should go directly to their 1st period class on Thursday morning.  The teacher will take attendance and then dismiss you to come immediately to the cafeteria.  The ceremony will begin shortly after you arrive. Congratulations!!

    8th grade girls going out for volleyball at Lincoln Southeast, there is a mandatory meeting tomorrow (Wednesday) at 3:30 p.m. in the north gym at Southeast.  Parents should also attend in order to receive the necessary information.  If you have any questions, see Ms. Naprstek in room 205.

    Any 8th grader planning to attend LSE who was unable to attend the 9th grade orientation at Southeast, please come to the office TODAY to pick up your orientation folder.
