IT’S TIME TO ‘SPRING FORWARD’…remember to set your clocks ahead one hour on Saturday night!!

    ALL STUDENTS

The media center will not be a choice during lunch time today.

In recognition of Music in Our Schools Month, the Nebraska Music Educators sponsor the World’s Largest Concert which is being broadcast today at 1 p.m. EDT.  The general idea is that children from all over the world learn the same six songs and then sing together at the same time as they watch the concert live on TV.  The vocal music classes at Pound will be singing along with the pre-recorded version of this concert today since it is not broadcast over our PBS station.  Just know that we are singing along with about 400,000 other students across America…hence the World’s Largest Concert 2010!!                                                                                                                                                      Mrs. Cook

Would you like ONE homework-free day –IN ALL CLASSES?  Would you like to help people in need?  Then bring your spare change and put it in one of the jars in the commons.  On Thursday, April 1st (note date change) the class with the LEAST money will win a homework-free day, which means that in order for your class to win, you have to work together and put your money in a different class’s jar. (Example: 8th graders put their money in the 6th or 7th grade jar.) The winning class will be announced at the Multicultural Dinner on Thursday, April 8.  All money will be donated to the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund.
