After 20 years of teaching instrumental music at Culler Middle School, I made the move to Pound Middle School. I am starting my 9th year.
My mission at Pound Middle School is to teach, model, and instill commitment and work ethic through participation in instrumental music. Music is my passion.
Whether teaching or performing, my philosophy about music is simple. Anyone that works hard enough can be good enough to enjoy creating music. The better you are at playing your instrument, the more fun it is to make music.
I also enjoy performing in many area music groups. They include the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra, Blue House, Lincoln Municipal Band, and occasional appearances with touring Broadway productions. I have two sons, Parker and Evan.
