U.S. Army/ Links Football Boot Camp Considered Success

Lincoln High Football wanted to started the summer off with a bang and was successful in doing so with its first ever Links Football Boot Camp sponsored by the U.S. Army. Designed to remind players of the importance of off-season conditioning, improving mental toughness, and working as a team the camp brought together in-coming freshman up to athletes entering their senior year to participate together through a series of obstacle courses. The participants received MRE’s (meals ready to eat) for lunch, provided by the U.S. Army and a set of custom dog tags upon completion of the day’s activities.
