The Lincoln High football staff would like to personally invite you and your parent(s) to an evening at Lincoln High School on Thursday, February 14th, 2013. This evening will provide an excellent opportunity to experience Lincoln High and meet the football coaching staff, Principal and current players. We will also introduce you to former Nebraska Cornhusker All-American and assistant Lincoln High football coach Keyo Craver. The following is a schedule of the evening’s events:
5:15 pm Arrive at Lincoln High.
Please park in the north parking lot and use the north entrance, Door #1. You may enter the north parking lot from Capitol Parkway or 21st Street (map enclosed).
5:30 pm Pizza and soda will be served in the cafeteria.
5:55 pm Welcome & opening remarks from Coach Macke and Dr. Mike Wortman.
6:10 pm Keyuo Craver: What it takes to be a successful high school student athlete.
6:30 pm Tour the Lincoln High facility.
7:00 pm Return to cafeteria and introduce:
Yohanna Shokai – All-City an honorable mention All-State.
Tyren Baker – Freshman DL & FB.
Martiez Prather – Freshman RB.
Coach Bump Christensen – Defensive Coordinator
7:20 pm Depart to Johnson Gymnasium for the Lincoln High vs. Lincoln Northstar varsity boys basketball game.
We hope you are able to join us on Thursday, February 14th to see and experience the rich tradition of Lincoln High. This is an opportunity for you and your family to see the facility, meet coaches and administrators and ask any questions you may have.
