Each day your child will participate in writer’s workshop.  During this time they will draw pictures and write about stories from their lives.  As the year progresses,  students move from using pictures and maybe a few random letters to record their story to writing sentences and phrases using inventive spelling, spaces and punctuation.  It is amazing what students will be doing by the end of the year.
