Professional Experience

I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln May 2013 with a degree in Secondary Education (7-12) endorsed in Social Sciences and Coaching. I student taught at Lincoln Southwest with Ryan Salem teaching Government and Politics and AP World History. I also had practicum experiences at Lux Middle School and Irving Middle School. Before college I graduated from Millard West High School in Omaha, NE in 2009.

Upon graduation from college I substitute taught with Lincoln Public Schools, Elkhorn Public Schools, and Gretna Public Schools. Then in February 2014 I was honored to become a part of the Lincoln High  Social Studies department after an immediate opening became available. I taught World Geography and Psychology. Before that I had very little experience at Lincoln High but very quickly I learned why LHS is so great and am proud to consider myself a Link now.

I will be back at Lincoln High 2016-17 for my fourth year. This year I will be teaching the Civics/World Geography A Team, United States History, and AP United States History. I am the Freshman boys’ basketball coach at Lincoln High.
