I can not believe it is already October and 1st quarter will soon be over. The leaves are changing colors, the temperatures are dropping and pumpkins are everywhere 🙂
We are having a great year! In the last couple of weeks I have sent home two reading opportunities. BookIt, is the Pizza Hut reading program. Our goal is for each student to read at least 400 minutes a month. Please return that calendar at the end of the month. I sent home the Scholastic reading incentives, that is done at home.
We started a new theme today, Nature Walk. It is a great time of year to get out and enjoy nature.
We also started our huge problem solving unit in Math. Parent letters will be sent home throughout this unit.
Conferences are just around the corner, I will be sending home a sign up sheet in Friday Folders. I am excited to see you all again and talk about your children.
