Home to School Art Connections

All students grades K-5 are evaluated each quarter on making connections in art; Core Ability #2 is Connect with Art and Core Ability #6 is Live with Art. To support these two standards, students are encouraged to bring items from home that connect to art. Items can include: artifacts, photographs, newspaper and magazine articles, website links, etc. Artifacts must be made by someone other than the student…a parent, aunt/uncle, grandparent, sibling, neighbor.
