1. warm-up using new vocabulary. Pronunciation of new vocabulary. Filled in vocab sheets checked off for completion.
2. Notes on preterite verbs…brainstormed -ar verbs. Notes – left hand column…what preterite is, how conjugated, -ar conjgations, translate sentence.
3. Homework – conjugate visitar on vocab chart and translate the sentence.

Español 3

1. warm-up – going camping using the pretertite.
2. Speaking activity using present tense and then preterite.
3. Started in class and finished for homework….Writing a 5-7 sentence story about a vacation using the preterite and yo form. Use a lot of vocabulary, descriptive words, connecting words and other details. Make it level 3. Stories will be shared in groups during our “campfire” on Wednesday. They will also be read to Maestra individually for pronunciation check on Thursday.
