Spanish 2

1. warm-up review question and editing practice.

2. Speaking in Spanish practice with partner.

3. p. 58-59 – overview of lesson and discussion of what see on the pages.

4. Intro do new vocab with DVD and pp. 60-61 p listening practice.

5. Vocab sheet passed out and students filled in TOP vocab section only.

6. Review and practice with interogatives (Question Words) Added them to vocab sheet.

Spanish 3

1. warm-up questions in preterite.

2. Culture readings and review pp. 28-29, 38, 44 and 48. Listened to Octavio Paz poem and discussed. Wrote answers to culture questions – to study, there is culture on the Test on Friday. These are the pages you should study.

3.Leer B – reading and writing practice.

4. Papers returned and summative speaking “story” discussed. Students will tell a story of a past vacation using the yo form preterite and Spanish 3 descriptive sentences during a “campfire” activity in class. 5-6 sentences. Students should come with their reworked previous work to practice tomorrow in class.

Missing work? Due Thursday. Book review – due Thursday. Summative speaking Wednesday. Test on Friday.
