Precalculus


Some important information about Precalculus:

The mid-semester cumulative exam is the only retest opportunity offered for Precalculus. (College courses typically do not offer retesting.) A score will be given for the cumulative, and if students score higher on sections of the cumulative it will replace previous test scores. The cumulative 1st semester covers the following sections: 2nd semester covers

Precalculus counts as the 4th year of math necessary for college entrance.

Precalculus semester one is College Trigonomety. Semester two is College Algebra. Both classes can be taken for Southeast community college credit.

Each student in Precalculus has been given a textbook and a calculator. The current replacement cost for a calculator is $93 and the textbook is $99. Please be aware that if your student does not return the materials assigned to them they will be given a fine for those items.
