My name is Emily Timmerman and I am a second grade teacher at Arnold Elementary. I taught several different areas of special education for three years before moving to second grade. I firmly believe that all children can learn and enjoy being the person who gets to help them through that process! Second grade has been a great place to be because the kids are excited for school and growing so much. The butterfly unit is especially fun to teach!
I am originally from Highlands Ranch, Colorado where my parents still live. After high school I attended Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska. I was hired here at Arnold Elementary and moved to Lincoln after graduation. I have one younger sister who is attending veterinary school at the University of MIssouri in Columbia, Missouri.
Outside of my great job at Arnold I enjoy reading, running, watching movies and being with friends outdoors.
