Welcome! Physical science is a fast paced course with the goal of providing students with a base knowledge of physics. This is a hands on course that uses a modeling approach to instruction that includes scientific inquiry, discourse, and evaluation of evidence to develop conceptual graphical representations and mathematical models to meet state and district competencies.

Physical Science is a one-term (nine week) course. Physical science is a good introductory 9^th grade course that surveys skills and concepts in physics. Students will study motion, forces, energy, and waves. This course is a good preparation for future courses in biology, chemistry, and physics.
