The 2017-2018 school year will be my fourth year at Lincoln Southwest High School and my eighth year as a teacher.  Before joining the staff at Lincoln Southwest I taught at Bellevue West High school for four years.  I come from a family of teachers including my grandmother, mother, and aunt.  I guess you could say teaching is in my blood 🙂

After graduating with my Bachelors of Science degree in Natural Science Education and Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University in May 2010 my husband and I moved to Bellevue where I taught at Bellevue West High School for four years. While at Bellevue West I earned my Masters of Science in Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Peru State College in May 2013. After my fourth year in Bellevue my husband and I decided it was time to move back to Lincoln and be closer to our family and friends. I am excited to start my third year in Lincoln and at Southwest High School.
