We had our first rehearsal of the Scott Man Choir on Tuesday after school. I was pleased that we had 17 at this first meeting. We were able to sing 4-part harmony right off the bat (Barbara Ann). Just in the last 24 hours, I’ve had 6 more guys telling me that they were coming but they either forgot, didn’t know where the room was, or didn’t know it existed.

I look forward to taking this group out to perform for our Elementary School feeders.

We’ll be meeting every Tuesday from now on.

Competition was very intense this year. I wish I had room for all the outstanding singers I heard.

You are still welcome to be in the 7^th and 8^th Grade Choir. I occasionally invite a member to join the Select group as openings occur.
