The students will be introduced to the guitar by a group of retired men that love to play and sing together, called The Posse.
In the UNIT, we will….
*learn to tune the guitar
*name the parts of the guitar
*learn finger exercises
*learn basic chords, i.e. C, D, G, A, E, C7, D7, G7, A7, E7, Am
The final project is: in small groups, they will choose from one of the selections I give them, a song to play and sing for the class.
