We learned about how to measure an angle in Radians today. Check out this visual example of what we did in class. http://www.mathsisfun.com/definitions/radian.html. Click on what is a radian and watch the computer do what we did with our string and circle. 6th period Precalculus class if you look at section 1.4 and it doesn’t look like what we talked about in class it’s because I should have said section 1.5! SORRY!
Welcome to the new school year! If you are used to seeing me in S134 I won’t be there anymore. I am now teaching Algebra Block in S226 periods 3 and 4 and Precalculus in S122. I will be in the math office S125 during 2nd, 5th, and B lunch.
I will not be at Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday. If you need to contact me please email me or call me at LHS in the morning. If your student is in Algebra Block then my co-teacher Mrs. Domeier will be available to talk with during conferences.
The Precalculus Cumulative Test on Chapters 3 and 4 in Precalculus will be February 27th and 28th. This test worth 100 points. It will also count as a replacement score for both Chapters 3 and 4 if the score on cumulative is higher than the orginal test score.
Class time will not be used for review for this test. Lunch help sessions will be on Monday February 24, Tuesday February 25, and Wednesday February 26th if you are interested in reviewing with me.
The Algebra Cumulative Test will cover chapters 7 and 8. Students will be reviewing in class for this test. The Cumulative is worth 100 points and will count as the last retest opportunity for chapters 7 and 8. The Cumulative will be sometime next week.
