Emphasis will be on communication (both oral and written) while acquiring the necessary skills to complete the third and fourth year Spanish course learnings. Activities cover cultural and historical aspects of the Spanish language.

This course is taught in Spanish and requires excellent attendance, attention and commitment. Students must be willing to be active participants in using Spanish in all activities daily and to experience a more challenging course of study with an emphasis on developing higher order thinking skills.

All students who are interested in this class complete an application, write a short essay, have a teacher recommendation and take a Spanish skills test prior to registration. A grade of a C or better is highly recommended for success at the next level.
