TBI’s can be caused by a variety of factors such as car accidents, blunt trauma, or anything else that impacts the brain’s ability to function. A student can be identified as having a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) by a health professional. TBI can still fall under the Concussion Management Team, but is diagnosed by a physician.
