The “Monday AM” is a weekly communication (Google Doc) from the Superintendent’s office to LPS Administrators every Monday morning. It consists of an aggregation of updates and action items from district departments that buildings will need to know about.
The intent of the Monday AM is to reduce or eliminate a constant, but irregular stream of interruptions from departments, and offer a single reliable resource to refer to when looking for previously shared information.
What is now known as the Monday AM is believed to have started in the 1990’s with a regular weekly message from Dr. Marilyn Moore, associate superintendent for instruction.
