IT – Instructional Technology

Instructional Technology refers to the use of technology to improve performance, delivery, and enhance good classroom instruction. LPS employs IT leaders (often called “Tech Leaders”) in all buildings who serve in a coaching/support role for teachers as they explore new ways to engage students with district approved technological resources and materials.

To capitalize on the relationship between technology and learning, the LPS Computing Services Department collaborates with the Curriculum and Library Media Services Departments, as well as each school to make technology an integral part of the instructional process.
