Spanish 2

1) We reviewed the preterite tense and how to use adverbs in Spanish by writing sentences about how we started the day, how we studied, how we helped around the house, etc. over the weekend.

Examples: Empecé el día difícilmente, Estudié perezosamente, Ayudé en casa alegremente.

2) Students saw sample questions for the 2.1 speaking test we will have next Monday, November 16. We will continue working with these throughout the week.

3) Students got their p. 107 questions back, and we went over the correct answers. Then we saw a 2-minute videoclip with more information to see if we could understand more about the World Cup trophies. The videoclip was a news clip spoken at a quick pace.

4) We watched a short video from the 2014 World Cup and wrote 3 perfect sentences, telling who did what and how. Examples in English: Héctor scored the goal elegantly. The fans yelled loudly.

**This is a summative assessment. Write your 3 perfect sentences when we watch the video again on Tuesday. Be sure to write that you were absent on Monday; that way I can give you feedback and then you’ll get one more try to perfect the sentences.**

5) La tarea – Study your 2.1 vocabulary and preterite forms. Our 2.1 QUIZ will be Wednesday, November 11th.
