1) I marked credit for the homework assignment – the 1/2-sheet ¿Qué vas a hacer?
**Put your answers in the “Tarea aquí” box.**
2) We reviewed how to talk about the future with “ir + a + the infinitive.” Examples: Voy a correr esta noche. (I am going to run tonight.) Ellos van a preparar la comida. (They are going to prepare the food.)
3) We practiced stem-changing verbs and reading comprehension with the activity “McCombos.”
**You do not have to do this, but it is good practice. Take a copy from the left, front folder. Show me your answers when you’re done, and I will give you the answer key.**
4) We went over the Lección Preliminar TEST format. Our test will be this Friday, September 11.
**Ask to see the test format.**
5) La tarea – pp. 30-31 in your book, Activities 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. This will be due on Thursday, September 10.

The above practice worksheet is an example of the extra practices that I have. Ask for more if you think they would help you prepare for the test, but, remember, you must complete the worksheet if you take it!

1) Leímos los cuentos que los estudiantes escribieron en la clase el viernes. Lo bueno es que los estudiantes usaron bien los verbos en el pretérito.
2) Hablamos del formato del Examen 1.1.
3) Practicamos las formas del pretérito – los regulares y los irregulares.
4) Fuimos al laboratorio de computadoras para practicar el vocabulario de 1.1 o las formas de los verbos en el pretérito. También necesitas saber información específica sobre el Parque de Chipinque, porque vas a escribir sobre una excursión imaginaria que tomaste al Parque.
