1) I marked credit for the homework assignment – the questions over the information on Puerto Rico on pp. 140-141.

2) Period 1 only – We did a speaking activity to practice the present tense verbs with irregular “yo” forms.
3) We went over the 3.1 QUIZ format. Part A is matching clothing vocabulary with pictures, Part B is writing the irregular “yo” forms of present tense verbs, and Part C is answering questions like those we’ve practiced in class this week.
4) We watched a video about Puerto Rico and wrote notes about several important topics.
**Come in after school to watch the video (19 minutes) and ask to copy the list of topics.**
5) La tarea – a worksheet on the present tense verbs with irregular “yo” forms.

3) Vimos una entrevista de Sonia que salió en 60 Minutes.
4) Hablamos de los sufijos. Mira la nota gramatical en la página 216.
5) Practicamos una vez más el uso del subjuntivo con los verbos “recomendar, sugerir, insistir en, etc.”
6) La tarea – No hay tarea oficial, pero te recomiendo que estudies el vocabulario y la gramática de la Unidad 3.1 y que repases la información sobre Sonia Sotomayor.
