1) I marked credit for the homework assignment – “El Pretérito-Práctica 2.”
**Put your answers in the “Tarea aquí” box.**
2) We read about the history of the World Cup on p. 106, and we practiced writing sentences by writing the answers to the questions in ¿”Comprendiste?” on p. 107.
**I recommend that you do the reading and answer the questions to get good reading and writing practice, but it’s your decision.**
3) We reviewed how to form adverbs by adding “-mente” to adjectives. (intenso – intensamente, alegre – alegremente)
4) We watched the video for the 2010 Official World Cup Song and wrote 3 perfect sentences about what people did and how they did it. Example in English: The player scored the goal perfectly. (Of course, you will write your sentences in Spanish.)
**We will see the video again in class on Monday, so you will have a chance to write your sentences. This is a for a summative grade!**
5) La tarea – Study for our 2.1 Quiz over vocabulary and preterite -er/-ir verbs. This will be on Tuesday, November 12th.

3) Repasamos el vocabulario de 2.1 con definiciones en español.
4) Vimos un PowerPoint de estos animales y hablamos de las razones por las cuales están en peligro.
5) Vimos un videoclip de 2 minutos sobre los cambios climáticos en los países centroamericanos y por qué es tan difícil mejorar la situación.
6) Hablamos con nuestros compañeros sobre lo que haremos el fin de semana para practicar el futuro.
